Bar Tip: Uptown Bar in Buenos Aires

Uptown bar in Palermo Hollywood is my favorite bar in Buenos Aires, and every time I’m in the city, I make sure to swing by. This place pulls off a cool New York City subway vibe that’s become super popular with both locals and tourists. You walk up to what looks like a subway entrance with stairs going down, and right away, you know it’s going to be a good time.
Once you’re inside, it feels like you’ve stepped into an NYC subway station, complete with tiled walls, graffiti-style art, and authentic signage that screams “Uptown Trains.” It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to snap a shot before you even step inside—every detail, from the turnstiles to the platform-like hallway, feels like a teleportation to Manhattan’s underground and theres even a full-size train car you walk through to get to the bar.
The place has a chill industrial look, the drinks are awesome, the food menu, put together by chef Dante Liporace, has some NYC street food vibes with a fancy twis (you can check the menu here).

It gets busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation and arriving early—ideally before 11 PM. After midnight, the place is packed with both locals and tourists. It’s not the best spot for quiet conversations, as there’s a DJ setting the mood—it’s more about unwinding with friends and enjoying the vibe. Location: Arévalo 2030. Buenos Aires, Argentina
